Bridging Two Worlds
This project is an open-ended illustration inquiry rooted in MBTI, investigating the nuances of human relationships and interpersonal dynamics.
Same relationship, different universe.
ISTP and INFP are MBTI personality types.
I’m an INFP, he’s an ISTP. I cry over metaphors, he fixes the sink without saying a word. We’re basically two different operating systems trying to share Wi-Fi. This series is my attempt to decode him—and maybe get him to laugh at a metaphor, just once. No winners, no losers—just two weirdos fumbling toward mutual understanding.

Did he leave a trace?
My ISTP partner is currently investigating my world —so far, he’s discovered a pile of metaphors, a few mood swings, and a cozy reading nook. I think he’s left a wrench and a logic manual on my bookshelf.
Which one is his?
Clue: ISTPs focus on logic and understanding how the world works.
Answer: right one.

Did I leave a trace?
I’m in my ISTP partner’s house—papers, tools, and half-built projects scattered around. It’s a bit messy, but everything has a purpose. Logic rules, even in the chaos.
Which one is mine?
Clue: INFPs value poetry and dreams of faraway places.
Answer: the left one
If we survive exploring each other’s worlds,
maybe we’ll understand each other.
